The airline has still never had a fatal jet crash, but what is their safety record really like? The hole ripped in the fuselage of a plane headed to Melbourne from Hong Kong is the first time the airline has lost a jet — they’ve had crashes but always been able to salvage their planes. They’ve had crashes though, and fatalities, too.
